About the job


The Director, Channel Sales leads the development, implementation, and execution of a global indirect sales program. The director is responsible not only for designing the materials aspects of the program, but also for the outreach and establishment of new partners. Support by marketing and sales support, the Director of Channel Sales will cultivate a robust partner network that will bring the Piezo Motion product line to market achieving sales and revenue targets. 


Piezo Motion is an advanced designer and manufacturer of precise motion and control technologies utilizing proprietary standing wave piezoelectric devices to create motors, actuators, and related control electronics and software. Our technology replaces historic motors and actuators where precision fast response, energy efficiency, lightweight, power density, and affordability for OEM applications are important considerations for product designers and engineers in all industries.

REPORTING TO: Chief Revenue Officer


  • Secure revenue by developing partners and programs that result in sales to meet monthly targets
  • Execute the partner strategy to build and grow Piezo Motion presence across key market segments and global regions to achieve business targets
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop committed, loyal, scalable partners
  • Gather market data and identify untapped market potential
  • Continually assess, clarify, and validate partner needs
  • Track, measure, and report on channel effectiveness against targets, and adjust programs and partnerships as necessary
  • Understand our partners’ businesses and develop strategies and incentives to make them more profitable through our partnership
  • Work cross-functionally internally to ensure messaging alignment, operational coordination, and evangelization of partner strategy
  • Partner with marketing to ensure the execution of programs and events to drive channel leads, pipeline, and deal progression
  • Develop joint messaging and value propositions that highlight mutually beneficial relationships and value to our business customers, along with repeatable sales enablement programs and toolkits
  • Coordinate sales and technical training for partners


  • Experience building and managing channel partnerships
  • Demonstrable track record of success in program planning, owning sales targets, and managing sales forecast
  • Strong ability to interact and influence effectively with C-level executives and team members
  • Record of recruiting and enabling top channel partners
  • High caliber, dynamic personality
  • Excellent time management and written/verbal communication skills
  • Experience: Channel Management: 7+ years
  • Business Development: 7 years
  • Motor Industry Experience: 3 years


  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Precision motor experience preferred
